As Mrs UK World is run under licence from Mrs World Inc, there are certain requirements set our by Mrs World Inc that all contestants have to meet:

• Natural female

• Married to a man

• Hold a UK Passport or UK Residency

• Capable of representing the United Kingdom in Mrs World 2014 in Bulgaria, in May 2014

• Have a charitable heart and love to travel internationally

 

The concept for Mrs World has it's roots in one of the oldest and most respected of all competitions - Mrs America.  Mrs America was developed by David Marmel, featuring a more contemporary and glamorous approach to contests.  While beauty is a key element, contestants are also encouraged to voice their oppinions about marriage and current events, and to raise money for their country's national charity.

 

All married women: young wives, mothers, and even grandmothers are eligible to participate, as long as they meet the above entry criteria.  By providing this unique forum, in which contestants from around the world can come together and share a common purpose, Mrs World successfully fosters greater communication, friendship and mutual understanding among all people.
