“Mrs UK World is an example to others that success in work, life and relationship is possible. We are looking for real women who haven’t sacrificed their marriages for success elsewhere. It is a platform for inspirational married women to make themself heard and reach out to others. We want driven, articulate, charismatic married women who want to make a difference in their homes, communities, and across the UK by becoming Mrs UK World and go on to represent our country at Mrs World. We will be selecting ladies at our March 2014 National Final who will travel to the Mrs World contest in Sofia, Bulgaria and compete in Mrs World on 12th July 2014."
Mrs World UK is the first of its' kind in the UK! Your husband is involved at every stage of the contest as it is a celebration of married women. Marriage is a beautiful relationship that has been found to bring 20 times more happiness than earnings. In a time of recession and hardships, we want to capture the success of marriage and use it to bring more joy into this world. Mrs World UK would therefore be someone who could use what they have achieved to genuinely help other people who are finding it difficult to achieve success and growth in their own lives (for whatever reason). The contest is a great place for women to share their experiences and tell their story to others.

When I started out in pageants 10 years ago, I had no idea of the wonderful opportunities it would present. While competing I was led to believe that I had to be single and not have had children to compete. So when I got married, my pageant career came to an abrupt end. However, I had so enjoyed my experience that I found the Mrs World contest and went on to win Mrs UK in 2009 and come 7th in the World Finals of Mrs World 2009 in Vietnam. It was a fantastic experience that I will never forget. It also gave me a new-found passion for organising contests and supporting and encouraging the women involved. Mrs UK World is different, we look for inspirational women who have succeeded in work, life and relationships.
I sincerely hope you find as much pleasure in what you get out of this contest as I have. The Mrs World system will provide support to help you to be the best you can be: at home, at work, and in your community. Best wishes for your and your marriage's future!

On a gorgeous summer day, Hannah and I started chatting about Hannah's dream for Mrs UK World. My involvement started as encouragement for a friend to bring her dream to reality. Its evolved to being fully immersed in the fun! Its been amazing working with Hannah to create a contest with a difference. The UK often thinks that contests, such as this, are degrading to women but instead we work with strong values. This is a celebration of the role that marriage plays in a woman's life. We strongly believe that this is both a platform to help women grow - with what we can give back - and to find inspirational women to represent the UK and our organisation. We look for women whose beauty shines from within from the good that they do and the love they give their husband and those around them.
I look forward to meeting more and more of you amazing women.

I have recently joined the team here at Mrs UK World and I can honestly say I have never had a job so fulfilling and interesting - I love it!
Working with these two amazing women and all the wonderful contestants really does open your eyes to all the incredible things women do. There are such inspiring people in this world and to work with a handful of the most amazing and courageous women really is a complete privilege.

Lyn and Mike Thomas are our marriage "experts". They have been married for over 30 years and have two grown up children. Now retired, they spend their time running the 2equal1 Marriage Ministry in the UK, enjoy travelling, concerts, and are an active part of their local church.
